Microneedling (RF)

Potenza's Microneedling with Radio Frequency technology is one of the most innovative, advanced anti-aging and texture-correcting treatments to date. Potenza Microneedling delivers thermal energy to deeper tissue, causing tissue contraction. The energy/heat also triggers the body to produce collagen and elastin, resulting in skin tightening through soft-tissue coagulation.

Treating acne and blemishes, scarring, loose skin, and stretch marks, Potenza Microneedling by CynoSure can improve a variety of skin concerns! Using micro needles rather than a laser, this radio frequency is safe for most skin types, but there are some indicators that could exclude some patients from treatment. For safety of the patient and your skin, a consultation is always necessary to determine qualification for treatment.

Most patients need 3-6 treatments in total depending on age and the severity of the skin concerns. A patient in their 20's and 30's with minimal scarring and fine lines may only need 3-4 treatments, whereas a patient in their 50's or 60's with more skin laxity and wrinkles will likely need 5-6 treatments. Each treatment can be performed every 4 weeks on average, but your plan will be assessed with your laser technician to cater to your specific skin type. Some patients may experience small pinpoint bleeding during treatment, which is normal. Patients can also expect to experience swelling, redness or sensitivity immediately after treatment. These symptoms typically subside within 2-7 days.
